How Are We Making This Possible? Building Partnerships to Expand Access to Education Students throughout Bahía de Banderas and Compostela have historically traveled more than 90 minutes each way to attend a bilingual middle or high school. This long commute has been a major barrier to educational opportunity.

Roots Foundation is working to change that.
Today, we proudly support an international middle and high school in Lo de Marcos, Nayarit, bringing quality education much closer to home for local families.
Through strategic partnerships with experienced educational institutions, dedicated teachers, generous donors, and community organizations, we are creating sustainable educational opportunities that will benefit students for generations to come.

We are committed to creating a permanent educational campus where students can receive a world-class bilingual education close to home. As enrollment grows, so will our campus, programs, and scholarship opportunities.

We are committed to expanding access to high-quality, bilingual international education in our region. To bring this vision to life, we aim to raise $150,000 in startup funding, which will also support scholarships for local students.
This is a non-profit, community-driven initiative—and together, we can make it happen. 

We are actively seeking a permanent campus location between Lo de Marcos and San Pancho, where land is more affordable and offers the space needed for a vibrant learning environment, complete with academics, sports, and extracurricular activities.

The total "all-in" fundraising goal—including startup costs, classroom essentials, property acquisition, and campus construction—is estimated at $1.7 million USD.
